Notice
Educational documents must be legalized for use on the territory of the Russian Federation. Information about documents legalization can be found on the website of the National Information Center.

About the exams
The Information about the exams will be available in your personal account: the format and date. If you take exams in a distance format, you will receive an individual link for each subject. To take the exam, you need to go to the corresponding link at the specified time and date in your personal account.

Exams are conducted in the form of testing. The test usually includes 26 questions, and it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.

PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT
FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS

About us
Applicants from near and far abroad can complete training programs for subsequent admission to ROSBIOTECH. During the course of studying at the preparatory department in Moscow, a foreign student learns the Russian language, scientific style of speech and special subjects, depending on the direction of the chosen program. Graduates of the preparatory department are given a certificate of completion of the preparatory department.

Hostel
Students of the preparatory department are provided with a dormitory. To check into the hostel, you must provide a medical certificate confirming the absence of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), tuberculosis, hepatitis B and C.

AFTER ARRIVAL
IN RUSSIA

Registration
According to Russian law, all international students must register with the migration authorities within three days. Foreign citizens with dual citizenship must present a Russian passport when crossing the border.
Medical insurance
You must also obtain a voluntary health insurance policy (VHI) when registering for migration purposes. All international students who entered the Russian Federation after December 29, 2021, are required to undergo a medical examination within 90 days of entry, in accordance with Federal Law No. 274-FZ of July 1, 2021.
Fingerprinting
All international students who entered the Russian Federation after December 29, 2021, are required to undergo fingerprinting within 90 days of entry, in accordance with Federal Law No. 274-FZ of July 1, 2021.
Accommodation into the dormitory
All international students who entered the Russian Federation after December 29, 2021, are required to undergo fingerprinting within 90 days of entry, in accordance with Federal Law No. 274-FZ of July 1, 2021.

STUDENT LIFE

We understand that moving to another country to study can be challenging. We strive to create a welcoming environment where all students feel a sense of belonging and can thrive at ROSBIOTECH.

Sports sections and student spaces: for your convenience, we have four gyms and three outdoor sports fields. Sports sections include basketball, volleyball, table tennis, aerobics, football, powerlifting, track and field, boxing, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. The Rosbiotech library and information center is the university's updated unified information space. The library offers traditional documents—paper books—but the bulk of its collection is made up of electronic resources.

Dining Hall and Food Court: On the second floor of the University's main building (Building A), there's a traditional dining hall with a full selection of dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. You can also reheat food you brought from home here. The food court is located in the University's main building. Here, you can enjoy a full lunch, coffee, tea, or fresh juice, and freshly baked goods.
